In Person
I have been teaching first grade in Baltimore Maryland for 12 years. Throughout my time away from Westover, I have volunteered as an admissions representative and I now currently sit on the Alumnae Board of Governors.
I graduated from Gettysburg College with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Elementary Education. I began my teaching career in an inner city kindergarten in New Jersey and stayed there for three wonderful years before moving to Baltimore after I married my husband.
I currently teach 1st grade in a small Catholic school. The sense of community reminds me of Westover, which is, I'm sure, why I feel so at home here. My boys (pre-k and 2nd grade) come to school with me every day and I love being a part of a wonderful community as both a parent and educator.
I completed a M.Ed.in Educational leadership from Loyola University in 2011. I am proud and happy to be a part of the inaugural group of WestoverConnect Advisers and am looking forward to helping other women in their careers in any way that I can.
