I graduated from Westover in 1995. I've been living outside of Florence, Italy since 2000. I am a first grade teacher at the International School of Florence. I am married to an Italian and we have one daughter who is in first grade at ISF. In my free time, I practice yoga, and like to go running. I also love reading and photography.

After Westover, I went to Drew University in Madison, NJ. I majored in Psychology. While there, I did a semester abroad in Florence, Italy. I loved Italy! After Drew, I started at Central Connecticut State University to work towards my teaching certification. I went back to Florence for a "summer" in 2000. I am still there! I worked all sorts of jobs here, most with children, until I started substitute teaching at the International School of Florence. Then I went back to CCSU to get my teaching certification and, eventually, my Masters in Elementary Education. After lots of patience, dedication and work, I was hired at the International School of Florence in 2009. I have taught third, second, and now first grade.
