I am a Staff Attorney for the Supreme Court of Virginia. Prior to this role, I clerked for the Honorable Cleo E. Powell while she was a Justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia and in her prior role of Judge on the Court of Appeals of Virginia. I also clerked for Judge James W. Benton who was one of the original members of the Court of Appeals of Virginia. I also spent two years in practice as an appellate attorney representing indigent clients who had been convicted of crimes. While in practice, I appeared before the Court of Appeals of Virginia, the Supreme Court of Virginia, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
