Courtney works at the New York City Department of Transportation as the DOT Art and Summer Streets Project Manager. The DOT Art Program partners with community-based organizations and artists to present temporary public art in neighborhoods across the City. The program aids artists in transforming city's streets from ordinary to extraordinary with unexpected interventions - colorful murals, dynamic light projects and thought-provoking sculptures. Public plazas, fences, barriers, bridges, step streets, and sidewalks serve as canvases for art.
Courtney received a B.A. in Art History and French from Franklin and Marshall College and spent her study abroad semester in Aix-en-Provence, France studying Art History and French. Upon graduating from F&M, she went on to Christie's Education in London to receive a Master's Degree in Fine and Decorative Arts specializing in the High Renaissance to Pop Art.
During her time at Westover, Courtney was an Over and was the Second Head of the Athletic Association during her senior year. At F&M, Courtney was heavily involved in her sorority, Chi Omega, and was the captain of the Women's Squash team for 2 years. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys museum and auction house hopping, playing squash, cooking, travelling and spending time with her family.
In addition to her career, Courtney makes time to volunteer! Courtney assisted with planning her 5 Year Reunion at F&M. Since 2013, she has been a mentor for the City Squash program in the Bronx. She also plays for the City Squash women's team. Last but not least, Courtney has acted as the Class Agent for the Westover Class of 2006 since she graduated.
