I started my career in the banking industry working for JP Morgan and then moved to the media industry where I was able to combine my analytical skills with my desire to work in a Sales environment. Within the media industry I found my niche on the pricing and planning side of the business.
I started my career in media at ESPN working through the management ranks within the Asset Management department. This team was responsible for pricing and supporting sales in negotiating multi-media deals.
After being at ESPN for 7 years, I moved to a Music Media & Technology Company called Vevo where I was able to get involved just after the launch of the company and helped build the pricing, planning & inventory department. During my time at Vevo, my team has grown from a 2 person team to a 14 person global team which now consists of two groups. One group is focused on pricing and planning all of the available advertising space across our platform. This team works very closely with many divisions across the company to ensure that we are optimizing our ad inventory to maximize our revenue as well as being competitive in the marketplace. The second group is Sales Operations. They focus on metrics reporting, process improvements, system enhancement, and system implementations.
During my career, I have been fortunate to have some incredible mentors and value the input and guidance they have provided me. In turn I enjoy mentoring others helping provide insights into what I have learned throughout my career. Outside of the office I enjoy horseback riding, skiing, golfing, and traveling. I also enjoy spending time with family and close friends.
