Hello! I am Lee-Ann Lovelace. I have been a professional singer for 10+ years now. My journey since graduation from Westover has been one that has always brought me back to music, and now that I am immersed in it, I could not be happier. I am looking forward to mentoring Westover graduates who are interested in pursuing singing/performing as a career.
My experience has been very non-traditional and very rewarding. I am happy to share it with you and give you any advice I can possibly give! I currently live in Waterbury, CT. I am the booking agent, primary writer, and accountant for my own band, The Royal Din. I sing 2-6 nights/days a week and work about 30 hours as a property manager, bookkeeper and voice teacher. I pride myself on being busy and self-motivated. As a side note, I am 90% raw vegan since September of 2014, and I work out 4-7 days a week.
I graduated from Westover School in 1998 and headed to LaSalle University to play Division I soccer and pursue a career as a teacher. After three semesters I decided to come home to work and finish my degree simultaneously, so I spent the next five years at CCSU. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005 and taught elementary school for a year before singing became the much-too-obvious life path for me. I coached Varsity Soccer at Westover from 2005-2013 as well until I could no longer juggle my singing career and the season, so I retired.
I have been in bands spanning almost every single genre, but none have made me happier than those where I get to share my own writing. I have extensive studio experience and have been lucky to work with some amazing artists. I have plenty of experience that I can share that will hopefully help you on your journey!
