I am an orthodontist at Michael Friedman Orthodontics in Waterbury and Southbury, CT. My inspiration to become an orthodontist began during my own orthodontic treatment at this same office when I was in middle school! I was fascinated by the change in my smile and confidence as a result of my own orthodontic treatment. I love being able to provide that same transformation for my own patients today.

I completed my residency specializing in Orthodontics at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY in 2016. I acted as the chief resident during my third and final year of residency. In 2016, I successfully completed the voluntary, rigorous examination process to become certified by the American Board Orthodontics.
I graduated from University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2013 with my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in 2009.
At Westover, I participated in the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) program. I am grateful for the opportunities and unique experiences Westover and the WISE program provided for me early in my education. The WISE program introduced me to RPI as a top choice for my undergraduate education in science. RPI prepared me to be successful throughout the demanding curriculum of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.
I couldn't be more happy with my choice to pursue dentistry and further specialize in orthodontics. The work-life balance and satisfaction in improving individuals lives by improving their smiles that a career in orthodontics offers is well worth the additional investment of time and money I have devoted to my education.

In my free time, my husband and I enjoy sportfishing, kiteboarding, paddleboarding, traveling, cooking and spending time with friends, family and our puppy, Cabo.
