A retired Wall Street entrepreneur, I currently run the Principle Quest foundation whose mission is to support innovative education and mentoring programs for women. I am delighted to share my perspective on entering the finance/asset management industry or navigating early or mid-career challenges.

MORE

After 20 years on Wall Street, Charlotte Beyer founded the Institute for Private Investors (IPI) in 1991 to help improve the relationship between wealthy investors and their financial advisors. She also later launched the Investor Education Collaborative in 2004 to continue to spread the message of IPI, where she served as CEO for 21 years until her retirement in 2012. A pioneer in social media, IPI introduced a private online community for investors in 1997, and certain of those conversations are excerpted in Beyer's book, Wealth Management Unwrapped, published in October by RosettaBooks. I serve on the faculty for the Private Wealth Management program at the Wharton School's Aresty School of Executive Education.
